About Tamzin Rosenwasser

Editorialist, speaker, and talk radio guest Tamzin Rosenwasser, MD, has experience in several medical specialties and an extensive background in research. After internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Rosenwasser was a Research Fellow doing research on lipoprotein structure and cellular signal proteins in Washington University’s Department of Biological Chemistry. She received Fellowships from the American Heart Association, and the American Gastroenterology Association for her work there. She also served as a Clinical Instructor at the School of Medicine, and proofread and acted as assistant editor for research grant applications, the fourth edition of the textbook Dermatology in General Medicine, and various research papers.

Dr. Tamzin Rosenwasser’s 30 years as a practicing physician began with an internship and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a partner of Washington University. While there, she was the recipient of four different fellowships, including one for research on lipoprotein structure and cellular signal proteins in the university’s Department of Biological Chemistry. She served an instructor at the School of Medicine and also proofread and acted as assistant editor for research grant applications, the fourth edition of the textbook Dermatology in General Medicine, and various research papers.

From her work as an emergency room and medical clinic physician in Missouri, Dr. Tamzin Rosenwasser transitioned to private practice in Venice, Florida. She has also practiced on an interim basis at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene Medical Center in New Hampshire, and in Indiana.

As the President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) from December, 2006 to September, 2008, Dr. Tamzin Rosenwasser contributed eight editorials to the Association’s journal and has written op-eds for numerous publications, all of which can be found online at http://www.AAPSonline.org. Dr. Rosenwasser continues as a board member of the AAPS and hold certificates from the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
